Great Grandchildren - Daniel / Alfie & Maisie / Peter / Sophie Josh / Freddrick
Nan was born in London. She met & Married my Granddad & lived in
Ludwell Nr Shafesbury Dorset with Grandad. She became a mother to
my mum & Uncles. When they were in there teens the Marriage to my
Grandad Arthur King ended & Nan left & went up North to Preston
Lancashire were she met William Pilkington who we called Grandad Will.
Nan was a down to earth person. She loved Max Bygraves. She loved
making cakes if ever there was a family member that had a Wedding or
Birthday or any other Celebration Nan would be the one to do the cake.
You din't have to be a family member to have a home made cake from
Nan you could be a friend or neighbour. Nan was famouse for her cakes
they were the best.
I know she is up there with the rest of the family & looking down on us all.
Love you Nan & Miss you. Rest in Peace.
All my Love Debbie.xxxx

For a Grandmother
Grandparents bestow upon their grandchildren
The strength and wisdom that time
And experience have given them.
Grandchildren bless their Grandparents
With a youthful vitality and innocence
That help them stay young at heart forever.
Together they create a chain of love
Linking the past with the future.
The chain may lengthen,
But it will never part...
